2012 is the 10th years of our friendship and we're celebrating this occasion every single day of these years! I appreciate every second with you, my sweetheart, you really mean a lot for me.

100!!!

This is my 100th post!

I should write something special because of this occasion, right? But you know what?.. It's 100th only here, on blogspot. As a few of you know, i was blogging on another site and actually this is my 129th post :) Don't really know what to say, just want to thank for everyone who reads my blog. It means so much to me and every single of you motivates me to keep going. Love ya all!

Afghan pilaf

My dad still can't forget his time spent in afghanistan. I believe he won't forget it for the rest of his life. Being away for six months without relatives is sooo hard. I'm really happy that everything is over and he'll stay in lithuania for ever :) Today he made an afghan pilaf which is soooooo tasty that i must share some photos of it. It's quite hard to do, so i won't do a recipe post, sorry!

I'm soooo happy those snowy days are gone! Sun is shining and my mood is pretty awesome, how cool is that! Today i had no lessons, just went to the cinema to watch a film called 'how we played the revolution' in order to mention Lithuanian independence day which is on 11th March. The film was really good and i don't know why, but when i watch that kind of films i'm always ashamed of how everything is now. People just don't appreciate the freedom they have now, i doubt whether they pity the people who died for freedom... People are so spoiled today and i'm really ashamed because of them. 

But today is friday and the first part of it was totally amazing! My bff karolyte has a little party today at her place and i still don't know if i could make it or not. And now i have to tidy my room, wash dishes and do other houseworks. Parents' little helper ahaha :))

Saulutė šviečia, į kiemą kviečia

What an amazing weather we had yesterday! It wasn't very warm, because the wind was blowing all the time, but i really wanted to go out for a moment. I asked my mom to come with me and she took our camera and said 'i'm gonna take a few photos of you'. I like the way she takes pictures. 

I got quite cold and couldn't pose for photos anymore, so offered to mommy to go to the local cafe for some coffee. Our house is ~200metres from that cafe, but you know, there are days when you enjoy drinking coffee somewhere else, not at home. A very nice waitress asked us if we'd like to have some dessert and i  was already saying yes when my mum interrupted me and said no. We will make one at home, sweetie. 

After we drank coffee, we decided to visit my grandma. I felt really sleepy, so i had a nap while my mom and grandma were talking about everything. Then i woke up, talked to grandma a little bit and came home, because friends of parents had to come. I got in touch with Vika and asked her to come too! Luckily, she could make it and after a few minutes she was already at my place. We watched eurovision song contest selection of lithuania and i must say that the winner is pretty good. So that's all about my saturday. Now i have to do my hw and study for chemistry test which is tomorrow. I hope everything will be okay :) Have a good week everyone!

Spring has sprung

Hey guys!

Doesn't it sound good that it's already spring?! I'm really happy, because summer is getting closer and closer. I thought i like cold weather and wearing chunky sweaters and stuff like that, but actually i don't. I can't wait to wear short-sleeved tops, shorts and dresses!.. Weather today isn't very good, i'd really like to see a sunlight just for a moment :) 

 

I couldn't have a better beginning of the spring! It doesn't matter that roads are covered by loads of snow, the sun in my heart really shines. I checked my post box today and found a letter!!! I was so surprised, 'cause i don't get lots of letters and i immediately came home and opened it. It was one of those letters which are written by hand. I was so excited, 'cause this kind of letters is really a rarity. The letter warmed me up very much! I can't say how happy i was when i finished reading it. The content was really nice and i was smiling all the time while reading this miracle!

The letter was sent by the girl who has the same name as mine, also she celebrates her birthday exactly on the same day as i do! Isn't that incredible? Her name is Goda and she celebrates her bday on the 23rd of February. I still can't realize it :)) Anyway, i'm looking forward to meet her, i think we could be really close friends :)
